A whole new way to look at a childhood side dish

All of a sudden Israeli couscous (that we call Ptitim, פתיתים) looks so refreshed. Almost completely erasing years of trauma of rolling countless small balls around the plate as a child. Recipe from food52. We used feta instead of ricotta — it kicks ass.

Tropical smoothie

The local supermarket had papayas. Hardly a common visitor to Seattle, so we had to first check what is inside, and second, blend it with other things. Our papaya turned out to be quite a photogenic lady.
